Vehicle
Sarka 120
The Škoda. Small, light, four seats, and the only car with its engine in the back. Nippy on tarmac, fragile everywhere else.
Key facts
Sarka 120 at a glance
The Sarka 120 arrived in update 1.05 and is modelled on the late Škoda 120/125/130. It is rarer than the Olga 24 and the only DayZ car with a rear engine, which changes where you fit the parts.

What it needs
Required parts
Four wheels, battery, plug, radiator. The battery and spark plug go in the rear engine bay; the radiator is still at the front.
| Part | Size | Weight | Found | Rarity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 4× Sarka 120 Wheel | 6x6 (36 Slots) | 12 kg | Sarka 120, Abandoned Sarka 120 | Common |
| 1× Car Battery | 3x3 (9 Slots) | 10 kg | Work, Vehicles | Uncommon |
| 1× Spark Plug | 1 Slot | 180 g | Work, Vehicles | Frequently |
| 1× Car Radiator | 5x4 (20 Slots) | 2 kg | Industrial, Vehicles (60% chance) | Uncommon |
Fluids: water in the radiator and petrol in the tank. Motor oil has not been needed since 1.0. Pulling the radiator out drains its water, so refill after every swap. The radiator takes about a quarter of a jerrycan, five canteens or six plastic bottles.
Optional
Body parts and extras
None of these are needed to drive, but doors and the hood stop bullets and keep passengers in during a crash, and two headlight bulbs are the only way to see at night.

Step by step
Getting it running
- Find a Sarka 120. They spawn at fixed points (village lots, garages, sheds, roadsides) and are the same every wipe. A shell with no wheels is usually unclaimed; one with wheels and doors has usually been claimed.
- Collect four wheels, a car battery, a spark plug and a car radiator. Industrial and work buildings spawn the small parts; wheels come off abandoned Sarka 120 wrecks.
- Fit the parts. Wheels need a lug wrench in your hands; the battery, plug and radiator attach from the vehicle inventory or by holding the part and looking at the engine bay.
- Fill the radiator with water from a bottle, canteen, pot or jerrycan. A dry radiator overheats and kills the engine.
- Pour in petrol from a jerrycan filled at a petrol station pump.
- Get in and start the engine. If it will not turn over: flat battery, missing or ruined plug, or a ruined wheel.
- Remember the engine is at the back: open the rear lid for the battery and plug, the front for the radiator.
On the road
How it drives
Good on tarmac
Takes most corners at 80 to 100 km/h and stays planted unless the server is lagging.
Fragile
Light body, low health. A tree at 60 ruins doors and wheels that an Olga would shrug off.
Rear engine
Hits from behind kill the engine. Reverse into cover, not forward.
Small tank
38 litres. Carry a jerrycan on any trip longer than one map crossing.
Best use
Two or three people moving fast on roads. Not a hauler.
Where it spawns
Chernarus: towns, cities and the coast. Livonia: harder to find, but clustered around the destroyed villages in the middle of the map. Parts come from industrial areas and abandoned Sarka wrecks.
